Lisa H Schrock is the Director of Orchestras at Vel Phillips Memorial High School (formerly James Madison Memorial High School). She also directs the orchestras at Gillespie Middle School. Under Ms. Schrock's leadership, the orchestra program at VPM has more than quadrupled in size in just four years. 

Around the Midwest, Ms. Schrock has been recognized as a sought after guest conductor and clinician and has served as an adjudicator for many festivals. She is equally comfortable conducting professional and student ensembles. She holds a Masters Degree in Conducting and Music Education from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Goshen College (Indiana). She is the co-director of the Summer Strings Camp for the Teton Music School and Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
